Absolutely lazy & ignorant design, vacuum cannot stand up on its own. Be prepared to lean it against a wall or pick it up off the ground. Every single time you use it. Qualified engineering could have easily solved this annoying issue by having more forward stick lean in the locked position. Problem solved. Front soft brush was failing to spin on my 810. I found that belt pully had only been pressed on and was now slipping after about 4 years. Fix was to Dremel a keyway on the shaft and inside of pully and drive a brad in to lock it firm. (see image close-up) I think this was really bad engineering by the manufacturer to just press this pully on.
